A ‘welcome to the team’ video is a lot of pressure for both the rider and the filmer as this is the riders team /brand debut. It was a lot of fun capturing clips in my home town of Ottawa as we welcomed a good friend of mine to our team.
Brodown till Sundown
With only one weekend to bring the jumps of the Brose Farm back to life and film a video on them is not much time but we put in work and got it done.
Jeremy Menduni
This project was a 3 year labor of love as I wanted it to be perfect. I would test the angles, set the camera, and the friends travelling with me helped me capture the footage. I edited the clips and built this video compilation. The video got over 200k views on Youtube and this is something I am incredibly proud of.
Lights out The Yard
Every indoor park video is the same and I really wanted to do something different. We turned off the lights and we filmed it in the dark. Getting to play with different light setups was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to doing something like this again.
Mont Tremblant shows
Crossroads Tremblant is an annual festival at Mont Tremblant that The Rise was honored to take part in (pre-pandemic). Getting to build a custom course at the bottom of the hill for our riders to do shows on and then having huge crowds everyday, is an experience I will never forget.
Brazil Callin’
Bikes + Carnival = Great times! This was a 3 week trip where we got to explore Rio and Sao Paolo. The whole time we were blasting a song from A$AP Ferg so I knew I wanted to use it for the video and try to recreate the video style with the glitching effect.
BCN Days 5
Going to Spain to escape winter has been a yearly tradition for over 10 years now. Barcelona has perfect weather and amazing street spots; the entire city feels like a park. It has become a great meeting spot for riders from all over the world. It is always a great time getting to explore this city and then getting to show off all of its amazing architecture through video and photography.
